Dr. Chrissy is passionate about her work as chiropractor because of her personal experience with her own spine. She was diagnosed with severe scoliosis, which required her to be put in a brace from the time she was in 5th to 9th grade. Then during high school her spine continued to get worse. She is so grateful to have been involved in dance, because it kept her back muscles strong, which kept her from needing surgery. She was on the dance line at the University of Arizona and dealing with extreme back pain, when a friend recommended she go to a local chiropractor. She had done everything else with no success and gave it a try. Not only did her pain improve, but her sleep, immunity, and energy as well. She changed her career path to become a chiropractor in order to help others.
In school she was committed to learning the most cutting edge techniques to treat scoliosis and other spinal conditions and that is what led her to Chiropractic BioPhysics. She flew far to receive care from CBP's head researcher and for the first time in her life after 30 sessions, saw a drastic improvement in her spine in X-ray. She has maintained the changes and feels blessed to have gone through this journey. She believes she can connect deeper with the patients she treats having gone through successful care herself.
